Targeting the companion animal market PurforMSM® provides consumer’s confidence that their animals are receiving premium MSM free from contaminants.

The MSM role in animal health

MSM’s ability to down regulate the expression of infl ammatory markers and its ability to reduce oxidative stress makes it a vital ingredient for performance in working animals as well as aging companion pets. Some species require more sulphur in their diets than others and MSM can provide a dietary source of bio-available sulphur. The equine body is approximately 0.15% sulphur by weight, with sulphur being considered an essential nutrient in the growth and maintenance of horses. It also plays an important role in supporting healthy hair, skin and hooves.

What makes PurforMSM different?

Now more than ever, consumers are questioning the safety of the products they give their animals. PurforMSM® is manufactured in a dedicated production facility, exceeding industry standards for optimal purity and product consistency. By choosing PurforMSM® pet owners can be assured they are using the highest quality MSM available. PurforMSM is puriified through a proprietary four-stage distillation process, which removes impurities and creates low moisture content, reducing the risk of microbial contamination and product degradation. Generic MSM uses crystallization as a purifi cation step. Crystals inherently have higher water content and occlusions that can entrap contaminants.

PurforMSM® complies with the EU definition of Feed Material per Commission Regulation 575/2011, Section 13.9.1.
