Product Highlight: Nattokinase

Nattokinase is a natural enzyme with a potent fibrinolytic (anti-clotting) activity extracted and purified from “Natto”, a food that has been consumed for more than 1,000 years in Asia. The potential health benefits of Nattokinase are numerous: promotes overall cardiovascular and arterial health and helps blood pressure reduction.

 

According to scientific research, only a small amount is needed to provide benefits to the cardiovascular system, which makes it an interesting new alternative not only as a stand-alone product but also in combination with other ingredients.

 

 

We are currently evaluating a new supplier source for Nattokinase that uses a patented strain of Bacillus Subtilis natto and has been recently granted Novel Food approval, therefore suitable for use in Europe. It is manufactured by a patented process that removes the Vitamin K2 which is a key advantage to help the anti-coagulant benefits of the ingredient. It is available as a free flowing, white, odourless powder and suitable for various applications: soft and hard gel capsules, tablets and powders.  The ingredient is backed up by 17 human clinical studies (and more on-going) and  9 safety studies.
